Abdul Rahman is a practicing advocate at the High Court of Madras with extensive practice in commercial, banking, arbitration, company law, and taxation law. And out of his fond desire toward law and taxation, he perused his bachelor’s degree in law from the School of Excellence in Law in the year 2014.

Being enrolled with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the year 2014, he immediately merged hands with M/s. Nathan and Associates as a junior advocate who thereby had appeared on various forums, including arbitration, the High Court of Madras and other subordinate courts, with a wide stream of legal areas counting as banking litigation and non-litigation works, and providing legal services to Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDB Financial Services (a unit of HDFC), and thereby assisting them in recovery proceedings through arbitration, SARFAESI, civil suits, 138 petitions, and execution petitions.

And he have a wide exposure to corporate and administrative laws, assisting several companies such as Capital One Construction Pvt. Ltd., Capital One Housing Infrastructure and Development Pvt. Ltd., RIHIM Developers Pvt. Ltd., Geo Prime Developers Pvt. Ltd. (a unit of IVRCL), Apple Chai & Veda Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Titanium Tantalum Products Ltd., and Chennai Shipping Ltd. in their acquisition processes and company-related litigation. And we have further assisted companies involving mergers and acquisitions in their regulatory procedures.

Apart from the above, he has also appeared against the Union of India and tax authorities in the matter pertaining to errors in procedure for obtaining tax rebates and further questioning the maintainability of the Limitation Act against the order of the commercial tax department when the appellate tribunal was not constituted and obtained a distinguished favorable order from the High Court in Madras.

His 10 years of experience have not only equipped him with legal acumen but also instilled a deep understanding of the law of taxation and the law relating to the succession and inheritance of estates and scaled to the post of Associate Partner in the Firm.
